Crazy time at Tommy’s Ham House in Greenville, S.C., where Mitt Romney showed up shortly before a Newt Gingrich event. It was a mob scene, not surprisingly, and so Romney ended up jumping over a table to meet supporters—and in the process stepping into my friend Olivier Knox’s breakfast. South Carolina, never ever change.

Despite Mitt’s valiant efforts, in the end it was Newt who was ultimately declared the winner of the Great Battle of the Ham.
