One Million Moms, a project of the American Family Association, is upset over the department store’s hiring of DeGeneres, who the group says “is not a true representation of the type of families that shop at their store” since she’s an “open homosexual.” The group also thinks JC Penney is offending the majority of its shoppers, who will subsequently stop shopping there.
